On June 17, 2022, Joey Kelly, along with 49 participants, undertook the challenge of pulling the Kelly Family double-decker bus 50 meters using 50 "BIG-Bobby-Cars" - powered solely by human muscle. This extraordinary world record attempt was in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Bobby-Car. The record attempt took place at Europa-Park Rust.

The record attempt was officially monitored and recognized by the REKORD-INSTITUT für DEUTSCHLAND.
With 300 exhibits, Holger Späth from Braunfels holds the largest collection of Bobby-Car objects.

The longest side-wheelie on a Bobby-Car was achieved by Marcel Paul from the Bobby-Car-Club-Altenhain on June 1, 2012, in Gedern / Mittel-Seemen, covering a distance of 473 meters.
